CMC-KUHNKE is pleased to announce we will be exhibiting at the upcoming Metpack metal packaging show. The show is being held in Essen, Germany from April 22nd - 26th.

As the can making industry's foremost supplier of metrology systems and QA solutions, we will be showcasing many products from our complete line of gauges, testers and software. A new era has begun in the world of double seaming, one where double seam inspections are completely automated. Since 2005, CMC-KUHNKE has supplied the canning industry's first automated, conventional double seam inspection systems. Dubbed MARS-SEAM, these fully-automated gauges complete a full seam inspection in minutes resulting in faster, more frequent and more accurate seam inspections, all while reducing costs.

Food or beverage cans are measured externally, emptied of their contents, cross- sectioned, and measured and analyzed using the award-winning S.E.A.M.scan database software. Data and inspection results are displayed in "real-time" throughout the computer network. Cans maybe loaded manually by an operator, or conveyed directly from the canning line. Multiple diameters and heights are handled by MARS-SEAM without the need for adjustment.

MARS-SEAM is just the latest in CMC-KUHNKE's successful MARS Series which also contains other modules for can and end measurement.
