ENR-2000 (DIG II) | | Manual Digital Enamel Rater base unit for Can and End Enamel Testing.
|
|
The Manual Digital Enamel Rater is used to check the interior lacquer coating on cans and ends. The current flow is measured in mA to determine lacquer permeability. The Manual Digital Enamel Rater is quickly and easily configured for: test voltage (4 V, 6.3 V or 10 V); measurement range (0-200 mA or 0-2000 mA); test time (from 1 to 99 seconds); and test polarity. Lacquer test results are shown on the large LCD and may be transferred to a computer database.
A 90 Ohm calibrated test resistor may be provided for calibration, as well as enamel testing fixtures for 3-Piece Cans, 2-Piece Cans, Aerosol Cans, Can Ends, Side Stripes, Bottle Caps, and even Tubes.
For cans there are three different mount fixtures. All connect to the contact control. For three piece cans there are two different sizes of can testers and for the beverage cans one can tester available.
For can ends an attachment is required, corresponding to the diameter. Attachments from 40 to 230 mm in diameter are available. All attachments secure the end in place with a vacuum (vacuum pump or venturi required) and enable problem-free measurements.
