Start the measurement by simply placing the met on the metallurgical microscope. The operator may now place the measurement points with the mouse. All results are stored and displayed in tabular form and may be transferred to control charts for a quick graphical overview. Using a high-resolution camera, METview Software is compatible with virtually any metallurgical microscope on the market.
The software measures Score Residual, Score Width, Score Depth, Tab Nose Position, Tab Nose Height, and Plate Thickness. Alternatively it can measure just score residual.
Make notes or other annotations right on a the captured image – either save it as a .BMP, .GIF or .JPG file, send it in an e-mail message, or even use it in a document or a spreadsheet.
Need a bigger monitor, or a higher screen resolution? METview can automatically re-size live or captured images to fit any screen without affecting calibration or measurement accuracy.
So easy to use it usually require no operator training.
