The VSM IV - Video S.E.A.M. Monitor, is an all-in-one seam scope which has been designed to clearly illuminate and manually measure images of Beverage Can Double Seams, Cover Hook Wrinkles, Composite Can Seams and much more.
Unique in its class, the VSM IV - Video S.E.A.M. Monitor, is the only VSM available that displays all of the Double Seam measurements on screen at one time. Using a mouse (just like using a computer), simply click where the measurement lines belong on the Double Seam. After the last click, the micro computer displays all of the Double Seam measurements right on the screen. To make this Double Seam Scope even easier to use, the VSM IV - Video S.E.A.M. Monitor, remembers the last location of the Double Seam measurement lines and automatically moves the cursor to that position so that only minor adjustments for that specific Double Seam are needed.
More rugged and reliable than other VSM's, the VSM IV - Video S.E.A.M. Monitor, uses a solid-state monochromatic light source, designed for up to 5 years of 24 hour operation. Chromatic distortion is eliminated, permitting optimum Double Seam images with quick and easy operator adjustments of can position, contrast and brightness.
Increase Double Seam measurement accuracy by nearly 5 times by using an Image Capture device to display the Double Seam image on a computer screen where it can be automatically measured with our Automatic Seam Measurment Software.
With or without a PC and software, the VSM IV, Video S.E.A.M. Monitor, ultimately provides speed, accuracy, reliability, repeatability, and simplified operator procedures for Double Seam inspection.
