An excellent tool when inspecting cans using the Double Seam Teardown Method, readings from the Plate Thickness Gauge may be used to replace nominal End Thickness and Body Thickness values in Calculated Overlap, Free Space and % Body Hook Butting calculations.
All double seam measurements may be read from the digital readout, or transferred to a
computer database automatically – saving time, and eliminating data entry errors.
