We offer several Can Height Gauges to meet the various needs of our customers. Some come equipped with a digital probe, and measure down to 0.00005" resolution. These may be adjusted for multiple height positions, and require multiple calibration pieces.
Others include a linear slide or linear encoder for maximum measurement range and convenience. These resolve to 0.0005" resolution and may be either calibrated, or zeroed once for the entire range of operation.
The V-block positioner guides the measurement process allowing the operator to lower the gauge tip for measurement on a single point for Can Height. Measurements include Welded Can Height, Flanged Can Height, Flanged/Beaded Can Height or Factory Finished Can Height.
All Can Height Gauge measurements may be transferred from the linear scale to a computer database automatically – saving time, and eliminating data entry errors. The Manual Can Height Gauge is available for use with Database Software, or as a stand-alone gauging unit, with a digital readout.
