The Aerosol Can Burst Tester is a semi-automated burst / buckle tester designed to check first the pressure at which the aerosol can end will buckle, and then the pressure at which the aerosol can will burst.
A single aerosol can is placed into the specially designed can holder, which allows the aerosol can to hang freely. Once the safety door has been closed, the automatic testing sequence may be started from the control panel.
For safety, the Aerosol Can Burst Tester automatically fills the aerosol can with water, and then slowly adds air pressure to the can. Once the the bottom buckles, the pressure is logged, and then the Aerosol Can Burst Tester continues to add pressure to the aerosol can until it bursts.
Burst Test and Buckle Test results may be printed to a serial printer, read from the Aerosol Burst Tester's digital display, or transmitted to a computer via the RS-232 computer interface.
