BDG-2000 | | Superior Bead Depth Gauge firmware automatically determines the number of beads and ignores minor dents or imperfections.
Adjustable magnetic restraints hold even the largest can in place as the Bead Depth Gauge profiles each bead with a sensitive digital probe; taking hundreds of readings per second. The Bead Depth Gauge automatically determines the number of beads, and ignores minor dents or imperfections. Each Bead Depth reading is then calculated internally by taking the difference between the average value of two bead crests (the highest points) and the bead trough (the lowest point between them).
The results of the Bead Depth Inspection may be subsequently displayed on the LCD, stored in memory, printed to a serial printer, or transmitted to a computer database. The printed Bead Depth Inspection Report contains the date, time, mark number, bead depth value, position number, mininum and maximum bead depth values, mean and standard deviation.
