Highlights Technical Data Video
Take 40 measured values in only 12 seconds!

The Automatic Shell Meaurement Station is capable of pulling up to 60 beverage shells from a feeder and measuring Countersink Depth, Curl Diameter, Curl Height, Curl Opening, and Panel Depth. Pneumatically and electronically controlled sensors automatically measure 8 times per end allowing the Automatic Shell Meaurement Station to take 40 measured values in only 12 seconds!

More quality in less time.

After being measured, the shells fall into a collecting hopper. The measured values may be transferred to a computer, which collects the data, compares it to preset specifications and can produce a range of SPC Graphs or send the data to a plant wide data collection system.

Alternatively, when configured to run without a PC, specifications may be entered directly into the Automatic Shell Meaurement Station. Out-of-spec values are marked on the display as well as on the printout; available when connected to a printer via serial interface.

The Automatic Shell Meaurement Station may also be placed beside the production line. During endmaking, the shells may continuously sent to the Automatic Shell Meaurement Station for evaluation. The measured values are then transmitted to a computer database.
